This little piece is a meditation on life, love, death and rebirth.. an experiment with "found footage," the visceral reaction to images and how their meaning changes in their relation to one another.
It was created in celebration of my 26th birthday. I asked my friends to bring objects that represented life or death to them. I then scoured the web for footage that somehow spoke to me about what their objects represented, and weaved it all together in an attempt to create an abstract narrative, a walk through life.
Resurgam means "I shall rise again" in Latin.
